It was a fun race and I am really glad that I prerode the course otherwise I may have broken my bike or fallen off a ledge. I would highly recommend Cameron Park for anyone who hasn't biked out there- it has some really fun stuff that I don't know the technical names for. I just wish Houston had more hills to practice on.

We do they are called parking garages

Hey Luan,
jack brooks is a lot like waco, except the climbs aren't as long.  The course is very unforgiving...not much time to warm up or cool down for approx. 6.5 miles.

That's good to know...thanks! I doubt I'll be able to make it out there before the championships, but at least I know there are some decent climbs. With the Memorial trails you pretty much get all the momentum you need to climb by going downward first. The only other thing I can think I need to work on that I can't find is Houston is descending on loose rocks & stuff.
