No it's not the movie.

But this weekend (Saturday the 8th or Sunday the 9th) I will be going to twin lakes scuba park with Trey if he wants or not for a swim (depending on the water temperature, hopefully it won't drop under 72 by the weekend) and a bike ride after.

Who else is joining?

It's off 288 and BW8 if I'm not mistaken...a lot of people go out there to do open water training.  And from what I understand, it's not deep at all.

Twin lakes is a good place to swim it is like 4-6 bucks to go swimming. The road around there has a lot of gravel and what not but a very straight road to ride on.

It is the start of the 2009 triathlon season.  Some members expressed an interest for an open water session.  We can do this at Twin Lakes www.scubapark.net this Sunday (15) at 2pm and next Sunday (22) at 12pm.  I will get the water conditions and post back here.  Until then, reply to this thread if you can make it either of those days.

Yeah.  I wouldn't mind getting some swimming in but I don't want to freeze.  I'm a wimp, I would have been out there in my surfing wetsuit this weekend.

The 22nd should work for me. I have a very strenuous long distance swimming program that could compliment that running program you have in the other thread. Any ideas on a wetsuit for me?
