I don't know who all is doing, but I know Jillian is.  I'm going to be there to help support and cheer her on in any way.  If other people are interested let me know!  We can car pool!

If the Half is not your thing, there is also a Quarter on April 5th and a Sprint on April 4.

Last year I did the Quarter and it was by far my favorite race venue.  It is run well and is very spectator friendly.

I'm allergic to swimming...

I should be recovered from all my running by then.

I'll be there for the Sprint...maybe the 1/4...DEFINITELY not the 1/2.  I just suck like a Dyson at swimming and haven't trained yet.

Hey guys, This is my first time on here, I got to ride with Dylan and Oliver last thursday and y'all seem like a great bunch!  I'm doing the lonestar as well, but just the sprint.  If anyone is lacking in the swim department, I was a swimmer in my undergrad days and love to help people out!  You guys have any bricks workouts scheduled?

I know its a little late but do any of the triathletes who are competing for this event want to share a hotel room in Galveston? We can split the cost. I wanna get one because I dont feel like driving an hour and a half on the day of.

I'll probably just drive out that morning.  It gives me a lot of time to wake up and get the blood flowing.  Good luck to everyone!  I'll be the only guy without a wetsuit haha!

The water is not that cold so it shouldn't be a problem with no wetsuit, I probably wouldn't wear one if I were doing the sprint.
