Spring break is almost here and warmer weather is coming.
I am looking for someone to show me the ropes at memorial since I have never been there.
Just got back into riding, all my prvious riding has been at Jack Brooks except a few trips to Austin.
If there is a group ride planned let me know. If not, then anyone willing to slow down to show me the way would be appreciated.

I'll be out there during Spring break when/if it is dry. Let me know when is good for you and I'll be happy to show you around. If you are used to Jack Brooks, Memorial should be no problem.

I am not sure about memorial but jack brooks was basically unridable when it was wet. Looks to be clear skies by monday so hopefully I can get out there.
what is the best entrance for the trails? (parking not trail entrance)

I'll be out at Memorial Friday if it is dry, after work around 4:30. Anyone is welcome to join.

With Memorial you can get a ticket for riding closed trails, and even if they are slightly muddy they will close them. I am guessing that it will take until at least Tuesday for the trails to reopen but you can check here:http://www.ghorba.org/trails/. Just park anywhere on the south side of the park. All trail entrances are within easy biking distance. I'll come out with Simon on Thursday to ride with Marcela...so long as Simon doesn't brake any more bike parts.

I went out early and went to the entrance where you have to ride under the woodway tunnel. The trails were great except for the tunnel which is full of water.
I didn't see any other bikers so I am guessing it is not the most popular trail?

Not very popular because of those tunnels I think. You do see some runners back there at times so be on the lookout.
