So some of the people at the race yesterday heard me complaining about the back of my knee hurting.   It still hurts and I think it is a little swollen.  I think I can feel the muscle or tendon or ligament that it is, but I have no idea what it is called.  The pain starts at the bottom of my hamstring, run down the back outside part of the back of my knee (not joint pain) then runs down into the top of my calf.  Anyone know what that is and what I should be doing about it.  It mainly hurts when I go to straighten my leg, especially after it has been bent for a while.

V -

Does rest mean spinning???
By the way, we missed you this season.  A lot!

I am kind of worried what this knee pain means for the Sugar Cycles Crit this weekend.

It is definitely the hamstring tendon (I just looked it up and that is exactly where my pain is).

if i were you & wanted to race next weekend, i'd take it super-easy this week. spin if it doesn't hurt, but it's probably inflamed from fighting the wind all weekend.

also, i require UT race reports Smiley

I'd rest it completlely. No spinning. It can be very delicate in that state.
