Cougar Cycling is very happy to announce a new sponsorship from Johnny Shelby and Third Coast Training (www.ThirdCoastTraining.com).  This sponsorship gives the team access to first class knowledge on how to optimize our training to maximize our results.  We are already in the process of organizing a seminar for the whole team on training!  In addition to the seminar some members of the team will be selected to do VO2 testing at a greatly reduced price.  These members will be contacted with more specific instructions via email.  At this time the team is not able to allow all members access to this service.  The team members that we selected were chosen based upon serious dedication to training and racing.  Hopefully in the future we will be able to extend this benefit to a larger portion of the team.  It was not easy deciding who would utilize and benefit from this first round of VO2 testing, but the decision was made looking at turnout and results from events in both mountain and road season as well as anecdotal evidence of training load and commitment to training.
