New here to the forums. Hope to maybe join you guys in some Mountain Biking and Road Biking. I'm still a new to Road Biking so I'll need some pointers on choosing a bike out. I have a mountain bike but not so pro at the trails yet.
 Hope to start riding soon!

Oh and I've also had the idea of giving a Triathlon a shot also. I hoping to do one sometime next year but I'm far from where I need to be. Hope to get some pointers there to!

Well I have never ridden a road bike before so I need to head up to a local bike shop to try one out and see if it suites me well. Then I'm going to be looking around for one myself. How often do you guys go riding? I think I have seen some of the UH riders at Memorial Park Mountain Bike trails before due to the UH Uniforms which look pretty neat.

We are usually riding the road loop every tues/thurs evening, there are usually a couple mtbers that will ride the trails on one of those nights too.  They will post on the forum if they will be riding off road.  Other than that, we have random mtb/road rides that people will post before they go.

I'll see if I can make it out Thursday evening. You guys will be at Memorial I assume? Haven't ridden the trails in a month or so. I'll be a bit slow and rusty haha. I was also thinking joining the UH Cycling team also if my endurance holds up.
