Fall 2009 Specialized Order

We will be getting ready to start a Specialized Order at the beginning of next week.  This is the ONLY time this fall to get our big discount from Specialized on bikes and equiptment.  A price list will be posted when I get the current information. 

The equipment will be open to all current members, and bikes will be available to those members that have raced for the team.

Update  9/30/2009 - Working on getting the price list together.  It looks like we might have a chance at getting 2010 Specialized Bikes!

I have contacted Specialized in order to get a list of avialable items and their prices for the Fall 2009 Specialized Order.  I will post the list when I receive it.

The way the Specialized order will work is that once the list is posted team members will have two weeks to place their order and get me the money for the items they ordered.  (Similar to the uniform order).

To be eligible to order equiptment you must be a member of the team (i.e. Dues Paid and Waiver and Information Sheet on File with the appropriate people - see http://www.cougarcycling.com/forums2/index.php/topic,1353.0.html   for how to submit)

To be eligible to order bikes you must be a RACING member of the team - this means that you have met the criteria above and have ALREADY raced for the team. (Most likely I will only be able to post the bikes available, then you will have to email me in order to get the price)

The Specialized Order is finally ready to get started.  We are making some changes this year to the way that the order will be processed.  

1)   The order will last for two weeks and will end on November 2, 2010.
2)   You must be a team member in good standing (waiver in and dues paid) in order to take advantage of these deals.  
3)   The following items are available for purchase at discounted prices from Specialized
Bikes (YOU MUST HAVE RACED FOR THE TEAM IN ORDER TO GET A BIKE) :
Tarmac Expert or higher
Roubaix Expert or higher
Ruby Expert or higher
Epic (any model)
Era (any model)
Stumpjumper HT Disc or higher
Safire Expert or higher
Frame Sets: MSRP $1000 or higher
Equipment:
Helmets – S-works model only
Gloves – Any Pro model glove
Shoes – Carbon sole level shoes
Optics – Any model
Tires – Any tire
Toupe or Phenom saddles – any size or color (includes women’s equivalent)

4)   If you are interested in any of these items please email uhcougarcycling@gmail.com for a price list.
5)   Once you decide what you want to order please send the list of items to uhcougarcycling@gmail.com.  In this email you MUST include the size and color of the item that you want.
6)   You will be sent a total price and a confirmation of order.
7)   If everything on the confirmation of order is correct, then you will need to make a   If we have not received your payment by then your order will not be included.  Paypal is the only way to pay for items.
   We will send you a confirmation email when your payment has been received.
