Thanks!!! Right now I'm just concentrating on making sure I bring everything I need- how stupid would it be to forget a shoe or something?

I forgot my wool socks and shoe covers and managed to lose my winter gloves at the 2006 nationals.  Not to mention that I only owned a fall cycling jacket at the time.  It was in he 20's and snowing for the start of the xc race.   Sad

Day 1 is over- XC race finished, short track tomorrow. Its around 30 degrees at the beginning of our races. I got to be at the very front for call ups sandwiched between world champion pro riders. It was very intimidating! Hopefully I'll be able to get some good photos of the short track races tomorrow and some of the 4X stuff too. I wish we had some of that stuff in Texas.

Good job with the XC, I would not have made it through the cold.  Good luck tomorrow.  Hopefully your flight back is uneventful.    Smiley
