Jay Parks from the Clubs department contacted me to see if there was any interest from our riders to do a ride on Monday Dec 7th near the Blue Bell Factory and then do a factory tour. Please let me know ASAP if you are intersted, he is willing to work with us on the route and timing if we can get enough people interested!! (I have to work
, but if you are available that day you should try to go it sounds like a great opportunity to get a good ride in out of town). The information he sent me is below.
"Sorry for the delay. The bike trip and Blue Bell ice cream factory tour is scheduled for Monday, Dec 7. We can put something together that fits the needs and interests of the cycling club if you can find at least 6 people to go. Meet at the CRWC behind OA at 8am, load up and on the road by 8:45. Get to the factory, unload and then the club is off for a nice 2 – 3 hour training ride. Return to the factory, lunch will be waiting. Then on to the tour. Load up and be back by 4-5pm. The cost is minimal. "
