Cougar Cycling will be having their Spring Meeting Next Tuesday (January 26th) and Thursday (January 28th) at 7:00pm.  The meetings will be held in the rec center (the extact location is still being worked on).

The TUESDAY meeting will be a GENERAL INFORMATION session about the team for anyone interested in cycling.

The THURSDAY meeting will focus on RACING and what is involved in getting ready for the upcoming road season.  If you are not interested in racing for the team you do not need to attend this meeting.  If you aren't sure if you are interested it will be a great opportunity to learn more about it.

Great idea to split the meetings up into a general info and racing session.

Too bad for the people who have a Tues/Thurs evening class though, so I'll unfortunately miss both.

I have a question about eligibility. Am I allowed to race if I'm enrolled in only 1 hour for this semester?

The meetings will be held in the conference room on the second floor of the rec center.  I tried to get the classroom but it was already taken.

I'll be there Tuesday and maybe Thursday, I'd like to get some racing in but still have to work on my cycling.

Kiet, races are good for just riding, not only racing. I promise that racing will put you in shape.

If you know for sure that you are interested in racing, just coming on Thursday is fine.  If you are new to the club and aren't sure (and are a little afraid of being overwhelmed), I would recommend trying to come both days if at all possible.  Also, you don't need to post if you are going to come.  If you are unable to attend then please send me a personal message and I will get the necessary information to you.
