I don't have the race flyer from Texas Tech yet, but we are just over three weeks out from the race event so you need to be figuring out if you want to go. Since this is sort of late notice you have until MONDAY FEBRUARY 8TH to notify me at KGYOUNG@UH.EDU if you are interested in going and the likelyhood that you will be able to attend. They sent out a message a few weeks ago suggesting that it was, but I haven't had anything confirmed yet. I sent and email asking for a flyer so I should know soon.

It depends on how many people decide to go and whether or not people can leave together. It is an 10 hour or so drive out there which means that Friday morning would be the ideal time to leave and I don't know people class schedules.
I did just recieve confirmation that it is happening and the flyer will be sent out on Friday at the latest.

yeah, thats the only thing, 10 hrs... I work and the latest I could leave would be around 5. I would miss the ride if the yall leave early.
I would hate to miss this race because its their first time to host an event and I was looking forward to it.

I am not sure what the official policy is, but in regards to what has happened historically... If they are a student at UH they must be on the team (waiver, $20 and info sheets), if they are not racing they are not guaranteed a bed (may have to sleep on the floor if there are enough racers to occupy all of the bed space (we sleep 2 to a bed). If we take a team van up, I am not sure what the school policy is, but I can check on that Friday. If you drive by yourself they can ride with you, but we can't guarantee any kind of lodging.

Here is the latest information from Texas Tech:
Everything will be totally done (awards ceremony and everything else) by 3:00 p.m. on sunday. The last crit (Collegiate Men's A) will be done at 2:15.

Road Race- Men's D, Men's C, Women's B- 37 miles
Men's B, Women's A- 56 miles
Men's A- 75 miles
Crit on Sunday.
