Hopefully this year they can get the sprinklers to not come on in the morning.  It always makes for some sketchy turns.

Not going to lie, the start of the cat 4/5 at this event is one of the fastest I have raced in.  You just have to hold on during the first 4-5 laps, and then the pace slows, but that first 15 minutes is killer.

this is a non collegiate event. so you would need to pay for this event yourself.
as far as team dues, the team accepts cash. make sure that you give it to either the pres or vice pres.

For some reason I thought if you volunteer to help Sugar Cycles with the event, you get to race for free. Am I right or wrong?

cool... I wouldnt mind doing the mtb season so i gotta get someone some money eventually. You said the pace is fast for the first 15min. How fast? I have been riding a while just never competitive road.
Either way i am signed up. Does anyone know the route so that we can practice the turns and what not

Umm I'm not sure on the exact pace, but expect it to be 26-30. The route is in the town center. During the race the course is closed to traffic and its not longer than a mile (I could be wrong). Try doing the death ride, that's what I would compare it to as far as speed.
