Hi guys. Recently I've noticed that some members of our team are not taking corners to their full potential.

I am planning on hosting an workshop/info session on cornering fast at the park sometime. It will cover the different ways you can get around a corner, and how to apply them when you are on your bike so you can make it around a corner fast, yet well within the limits of your tires and confidence.

We will ride around the park demonstrating the "racer's line" at a brisk pace, and then step it up if everyone feels comfortable.

These skills will help the most on tight courses such as crits. If you saw the crit at DFW you know that it demanded a lot of cornering skill from the rider.

If you are interested let me know what day of the week you are free and we can try to get a good sized group out there. If it has to take place after finals this might be more convenient for everyone.

No they are not, Oliver and I still are trying to understand why you didn't listen to us when we yelled at you at the crit

It's probably a good thing she didn't listen to us. It's dangerous to change something as drastic as the way you take turns during a race, as Angie demonstrated when she went really wide into the first corner after I said "get on the left."

Sideline coaching isn't very effective.

Ok Monday or Wednesday seems like a good day to do this, that way there will be less traffic at the park.

I'm going to be pretty slammed with school work this week. Is everyone cool with doing this the week after finals?
