Racing Information
Requirement for racing for the team
o Be a team member in good standing (ie fulfilled steps above)
o Want to race
o Have a collegiate license for University of Houston from USA Cycling (more information below). If doing triathlons you will need a USAT License as well.
o There is no pressure to race and there is no pressure (from us) during races. If you want to race, but think you will come in dead last. Then do it and own it! We want people out there having a good time on their bikes.
o If you dont want to race, but still want to come to races and cheer us on. That is a wonderful way to get the feel of the team and be a big contributing part of it. There is nothing more wonderful than having someone cheer you on in the middle of a hard race and give you bottle feeds.
