Any guesses on who's taking home the Maglia Rosa this year?

Will Jason...I mean Poalo Savoldelli defend his title?

can't wait to see how his boys get him up the final climbing stages, but for now we have to watch all that sprinting.  Dolomites...what what.

Anyone want to guess how Ulrick will do in the Giro? He's down 1:51 now. My bet is that will only get worse as the race goes on. The guy's in terrible shape (for a pro). Armstrong even came out yesterday and said Ulrick is no longer his pick for the tour because his form is so bad.

who thinks Basso can keep form to pull of the double crown?  And yes, if Leipheimer isnt doing well, I might have to root for Landis.....

Now that we know Ivan Basso is an extraterrestrial, I'm betting he will hold his form and win the tour. The Kaiser will try to beat him, but since he's only a human, he'll finish second (again).

Some website gave Leipheimer the best odds for an american to win the tour, which was sadly just 25 to 1.  Landis was 30 to 1 and Hincapie was like 40 to 1.   Cry  Must have been a french paper.

Holy crap, I just looked at the start list for the Dauphine starting today.  Looks like it will be a good one to follow, Most of the tour contenders are in it as usual.

Zabriskie 52.48.65  averaging about 30mph!, Landis (+:53), Leipheimer (+1:16), Hincapie (+1:34)

Leipheimer is now the leader in the Dauphine after coming in 3rd up the insane Mount ventoux climb.  Jose Azevedo from Discovery was 4th, but no other Americans other than Levi were in the top 10.  Anyone know how it unfolded, I have only found brief results?  Way to go Levi!
