http://www.bikereg.com/races/register.asp?EventID=2511

What: mtb race at ROCKY HILL RANCH!!!!
When: Saturday August, 13th
How long: 6 hours, two man teams

This is going to be a fun race,  I am still not sure if I can be there 100%, but if enough people want to do it then I am sure I can pull the strings.  It is the weekend before the big Tour of Columbus race.  The race fees are $25 a person, and it will be well worth it.  This place is one of my favorites to ride in Texas, and I think anyone that went to our race there would agree.  And just think, what a kick ass shirt that would be "2005 Texas Chainring Massacre"!!!!

Yall should do this race.  How often do we get to work as a team out there on our bikes?  Usually we end up knocking each other out.  Shouldn't be a problem with this race since only one team member is allowed on the course at a time.

online registration closes on the 8th, but you can still sign up the day of.  Brad is looking for a teammate.  Hugh would you like to join him, or is Hector still looking to do it with you?

Looks like our team will be hosting another race out at RHR this semester, just like last year's.  So, this would be a good opportunity to get some more practice in at the sweet place.

Alright, not very happy with the mtbers right now.  The only other member that is doing this race with me is Greg.  Hugh, we will have lights for you and Hector if you still want to do it.  Just let me know.  Looks like the roadies are getting it together for the Tour of Columbus.

Not so great, my friend and I got caught up in a crash that bent my rear deraileur.  I ended up only being able to complete 2 laps for 21 miles.  Sad day for the trek.  We had a lot of fun though.

oh ya, and on a sad note.  There were as many MSU mountain bikers out there as Cougars, never saw that coming.
