Meeting Recap: -Member, new member introduction: fill out paperwork and give to Louis, or Angie.
-Club purpose: Cougar Cycling and Triathlon was founded in 2000 for the purpose of providing an outlet for amateur athletes and enthusiasts to organize at the University. Since its creation, the club has not only helped develop students into successful cyclists, but has also created an atmosphere allowing friendships and connections to flourish. Cougar Cycling has been proud to send riders to elite level races such as Collegiate Mountain Bike, and Cyclocross Nationals, but the excitement is just the same as a new member completing their first cycling event. With the focus being on anything that involves two wheels, the team lends a hand to the community for events such as the yearly Elves and More bike build for underprivileged children. The goal of the club is not to win races, but to introduce the possibilities involving cycling and triathlon to students that share the same interests. This mentality has continued to help build the membership numbers and the on campus awareness, creating a better sense of community
