I am just wondering who would be willing to pay a little more for some better uniforms. I know some others including myself wouldn't mind getting some gear that is more race fitted. I can't complain about the price that Pactimo gives us, or the minimun, but they just flap a little too much. Any comments, suggestions?

I didn't know there was a problem with the uniforms. Too flappy? How many guys on the team ride fast enough for the wind resistance of their clothing to be an issue?
If you want to switch, that's fine as long as the price doesn't go up a lot, or there's still an option to buy cheaper uniforms for training. Keep the current design too if you can. It's cool.

Yeah, actually I have an issue with the "flappyness". I dont think because i'm going too fast, but maybe the uniform is a bit large for me. But then again, the chest is already tight, and the bottom portion flaps. Just a though, could we get skin suits? Imagine the UH train leading the race with us all in skin suits. AWESOME!

the flappy-ness does hurt you in resistance, and yes, even on our level. Mo has it right, its the area on the sides, stomach, lower back. There is just too much fabric. I have tried on the next size down, but it doesn't get rid of the problem. The jerseys are just not cut well.

Exactly right. It's a poorly cut jersey. And it's not because your jersey might be too large. I went down to an XS thinking that might solve the issue, but it's no better. It only created another problem being that the armslots are too small. And it aint cuz of my biceps. You got my vote for new jersey company. And remember, these jerseys are gonna be sold to the public at bike barn as well. A better jersey could mean more sales. Edit: I see blake has answered for me. But yeh, I actually own 2 sizes and they both suck.

skinsuits would only be good for TT's and crits. Not having back pockets would not be a good thing for road races.

I wont even say that's the issue here. Proper fit is proper fit. Just like getting a new bike or a business suit, it should fit right.

lol. Let's concentrate on the "leading the race" part first. We'll deal with skinsuits once that has been fulfilled. hahaha

Yeah, I guess I got a bit carried away with the skinsuit issue, but the waists do need to get properly fitted. So we HAVE to switch companies to get a different fit, we cant just tell the guys we have now to use a different style or something? Just to save you guys that hassle, otherwise I dont care who makes them as long as they're cool and affordable. Oh, also, even though the cut isn't perfect, I really like the fabric, it's very breatheable and cool.

ya, dont worry, I will tell the chinamen to stop their normal processing equipment and have them totally change their machines and setting so that we can get a different fit. I am sure they can work that in to their extremely cheap productionl. lol

what Blake was trying to say with his sarcastic and derogatory remarks ( ) is that what we are wearing now is pactimo's "race fit" jersey. This is supposed to be a closer fitting jersey, but apparently it's not nearly close enough. Another maker would be necessary.

Like I said before, I didn't think there was a problem, but I'm a new to this sport, so I'm ignorant about a lot of things. You've convinced we need different jerseys. Go for it then.
