Ok, so I need to tell Bike Barn how many bikes we are looking at ordering this year.  I do make the decision on who gets a bike, so no free loaders need apply.  Let me know what trek bike you are interested in.  I need to get your request in a couple days max. Thanks, check out www.trekbikes.com .  These will be 2006's so they will not be exactly like the ones on the sight, but most likely similar.

I'm sure the discount we get is gonna affect the kind of bike we'd like to order. How much off do we get, and if I want can I order one too. Also, can we order helmets and shoes through them too. And am I correct that the shoes through trek/bikebarn are only nike's.

yes Mo, you have put enough into the team that you will be able to order one.  Let me know about how much you are wanting to spend, the deal is a little less than half off of the bikes.  That should give you a start. And yes, the shoes and helmets will be Nike and Trek.

haha, I dont think it's gonna be the Madone for 1500. If that were the case we would all get one of them.

The talking with Bike Barn is going well about the bikes.  I should be getting prices on some 2100/2300's, and some 4500/6500 discs, and the 8000's, and then some 2005 models in the next day or so, possibly monday.  I will let you guys know what I find out.  It looks like this thing could happen quickly this year. And yes Jason, it looks very good for getting the 2005 Equinox 9.  Thank Bike Barn again for how helpful they have been to us.

No, Trek does no deal with Zipp.  We will be trying for a zipp team deal though, that will come a little later though.  The bikes are priority right now.

Just a quick note about ording these bikes guys and girls:

You must pay up front and in full before we place the orders.  You will be able to pay by check, (Made Payable to COUGAR CYCLING), credit card (through PayPal - e-mail me for details and it costs you and extra 3% cobyphotography@gmail.com) and of course cash.

I will be placing the order and picking up the bikes when they come in at the warehouse.  I live about 5 minutes from there.

Just let Blake know of your interest and he will approve/dissaprove any and all orders for these EP Bikes.  Participation is a key factor in your ability to purchase these bikes.  Hint Hint...

Hope all has had a wonderful summer and you are ready to tear it up for Cougar Cycling this Fall!  I have been a little pre-occupied with getting things off the ground for my new Studio.  For those who don't know, I just purchased a complete Photography Studio.  It is a life long dream and I am really looking forward to operating it...but it is a huge amount of work!

Cougar Cycling Team Photos and Inidividuals will be done at my new studio sometime in September.  We plan on having a ride and social, get-together and day on the Beach at Galveston.  We will be posting more on this later.

Go Coogs!
