A second item to consider...

To help spark some interest, a bunch of us want to have a screening of "Pure Sweet Hell," on UH campus.  Some information and a short trailer can be found at:

http://www.cyclocrossfilm.com

We're looking at getting one of the rooms in the UC underground if there's a small group, but if there's more interest then we'll try and take over the Houston room.  It's looking like it's going to be a Thursday late in September to not conflict with racing going on, so either the 22nd or the 29th.  So, to get a head count from our group, who is in?

Thanks,
Troy D.

You guys are the first to know...

The screening will be on the evening of September 10th in the University Center (either the Houston room or one of the downstairs rooms).  It'll probably be around 7:00, so everyone can come back from Track Regionals, catch dinner and relax for the evening.

Troy,
Can you post on the SCCCC site about the cyclocross screening. Would it be OK to offer to all the riders coming to regionals. Carl

I don't know if I mentioned this at the meeting or not (sorry, if I didn't), but the screening got moved to the Aurora theatre, which is around I-45 and 610N.  The website with the flyer is http://www.txbra.org/events/event.asp?EventID=1221.   Yes, you'll have to drive, but it seems like it's a cool enough movie to warrant it.  Plus you're supporting the local cross scene, which will support our race when it comes around.  I'll be there fo' sho'.
