I'm new to the road, I been doing about 3 to 4 years of mountain and I decided to move to the road. and i need help with this decisions
I have to choose between a 2005 trek 1500 with 105 give or take 500 miles and a 2010 gary fisher with tiagras with give or take 100 miles
both are aluminum and carbon fork. any recommendations

105's is a way better group than the tiagra. But you should ride both bikes and see which one feels better. Also what year are both bikes?

I would go with the newer of the 2. Yes, Izzy is right about 105>tiagra. even though 105 trumps tiagra, i will take any newer group anyday.
It all depends on your budget.
