Track Racing at the Velodrome

Hey everyone! Track season is well underway. I just wanted to encourage everyone to get out there! There are races every friday nights, as well as some dates on Saturdays. I saw Andrew race on Friday, and he did awesome!

You can rent one of the bikes they have at the track, and you can race on them as well.

There are open "practice" sessions on Tuesday/Thursdays from 6-9pm, as well as Saturdays from 9am-noon. You will need to get "certified" by Carl Lewis before you can actually race, and what that generally means is that he watches you and makes sure you can ride a bike. Its super simple.

It would be great to see some more Coogs out there! I am thinking about attending collegiate track nationals in September! I should have all my qualifications before the deadline! Whooo hoooo!
