Hey guys,
MTB season is about to start winding down and MS150 is about to start cranking up. I know in there past there have been a few folks that tend to ride the MS150, myself included. For anyone that maybe interested in riding this year.... Hold off just a bit!
I work at Mustang Engineering and ride for our company team WOOD GROUP each year. Last year we had about 80 riders on our team and are hoping for more. We have a large team and a great support staff that helps make the MS150 super easy and relaxing for everyone. In the past WG has always been Ok with non-employee riders, but they charge you $XX to ride with us. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up yet, but I am going to try and work with Wood Group to allow our club members to ride with the team for free.
I know there is rush and everyone may be eager to start raising their funds, but just hang on a week or two so I can get more info from WG. It's worth the wait, we did several fundraiser last year as a group which in the end everything was split among all the team members. It probably amounted to around $200 which is half of your fundraising requirements; no to shabby.
Any who, stay tuned. It may cost having to have a few volunteers out at the event.

Is anyone planning on doing this next year. I need a better count of people.
Keep in mind that if I get us on a company team the fundraisers will greatly help to get you to your minimum fundraising amount. So it is not as big a burden.
Let me know ASAP.

Trey, as always, I am up for the 1 day ride. Too bad I am not in the same riding shape as I was last time we did it.

I will be down for the 1 day ride, with no official payment/support etc... So basically, just a sprint to austin. We should rent a room and ride back on bike. Backpack/credit card will suffice I would presume.
