Hey Anthony, longtime no talk.  The bike itself is a cool bike.  Whether it's good for your purposes is to be determined.

My thoughts on this is that if you already have a road bike, this would be a nice bike to do triathlons with.  Having a tri bike with its aero positioning is definitely an advantage when you go out there.

Now if you don't already have a roadie (I've forgotten whether you do or not), my opinion is that it would not be a good choice.  The Transition is a very specific bike, meaning it's meant to only be used for timetrials/triathlons.  Even doing training rides with others would be tricky due to its positioning.  Get a basic road bike instead, and use it to train on and race tri's as well.  You don't get that cool aero positioning, but you do have more options.

There ya have it.  Hope to see you around.

No I don't have a road bike, so I will look for a basic one of those. I really want one so that I can come ride with yall. I have a moutain bike but I really want to train to Tejas Triathlon in June so I need to hurry up and get a road bike.

I was a personal trainer during the fall so I was very busy. But I am going back to being a paramedic so I will be a little more open this semester.
