Spots park at Heights and Memorial drive
3-5 mile fun run.
Joe will be there to run, I myself might be there too just to do it for fun.
Let me know if you want in, it will be a tight window for me trying to get there after work, but it is right next door.

They had a rabbit run the first lap, I bit and held first for a while after he backed out but then ran out of gas.  I ended up in second, though!

NEXT WEEK's run will be at Memorial Dr. and Shepherd starting at 6:00 pm.  You can expect hills and mostly a grass surface with some asphalt.

These are fun social runs, you don't have to race.  I was thinking maybe bring your bikes and afterwards we can ride around.

Since this is a Cycling and Triathlon club I hope to see some of y'all out there.

I'll go out at 5:50 pace, but you don't have to do that.
Most of the other runners run around 8-9 minute miles.

What are you doing these days Mo that prevents you from training? Surely you have an hour or so every day to hop on the trainer.

Funny you mention that:

6 a.m.- 9 a.m. Study at home or atlest try (If I can drag myself out of the bed)
9 a.m.- 5 p.m work (on Mon-wed, on Thurs-fri it's work till 8 p.m.)
5p.m.- 9 p.m Class (on Mon-wed, on Thurs-fri is study time!)
9p.m- whenever I pass out from exhaustion- Study some more and do school work.
And thats not including meetings with clients outside work, or work related crap outside normal work hours.

Also, saturday 8 a.m.- 4:30 pm class, and after that study again.
Sundays, Take practice tests and study some more.

With all the study time one will think i'd be done by now (even though I started like 4 weeks ago) but its crazy how fast time flies by and how other everyday things keep your from studying.

And lastly, it's called "an hour" on the trainer, but with the time required to set up the bike, change, and stretch afterwards it's more like an hour and a half. And then if you do it in the morning or right after work you will be too tired to study late at night afterwards, and late at night you can work out because then the adrenaline wont let you go to sleep properly. So yeah ... I was beginning to get in shape while studying, but now my new 80 hrs/wk job doesn't allow me!

Wow, thats a longass post.

Oh, and the reason there's so much studying involved is because there's about 2000 pages of sciences to cover, and then each practice test is about 5 hrs long, and after that it takes a day just to go over your answeres (both right and wrong, if you want to learn from your mistakes).

You can ride your trainer while studying. I do it sometimes, and I overheard Vasanth Coorg (currently leading the CAT A standings) saying he does the same thing, only more often because he's a med student and needs to read all the time.

That is true, and I have done that before. Quick question tho, how do you place the book so that sweat doesn't drip on it?

Also, that reason I haven't done that in a while is because I have the trainer and the good ole' giant set up at my GF's house for her to work out with it for therapy. But now she does more eliptical, so I can take it back.

Never the less, this doesn't change the fact that i'm still genetically "challenged" when it comes to physical fitness.
