So on Saturday May 12, 2007 Jack and Adams hosted the Second Race of the Texas Triathlon Series. The first being the Lonestar in Galveston. The race was very exciting and I was very happy with my results, I am picking up on my weaknesses and areas I need to train on. And improving quite well. The race started out with a swim at the Texas Ski Ranch
The swim was fun I was first out of the water in my age group and would have done better but I swam past the bouy because the sun was in my face so I couldn't see the turn around bouy.
The bike coming out of the ski ranch you start a half mile or so climb which really sucks because you have no momentum, then all around it seemed to be a climb with very little relief, until the last turn which was a nice little down hill.
The run was a quick two mile run with a few hills, and a little cross country running coming from the transition area.
All in all very happy,
my times are
300meter swim 4:47
11mile bike 34:00-the computer didn't get my exact time so it is estimated.
2miles run 15:46
In my age group I came in 4th missing the podium by 40seconds. I came in 65 out of all the men. 91st out of everybody there were over 700 participants in this race.

Hey, good job Anthony. Improving on yourself with that crazy work schedule really says something.

People at work get to see me in my sexy bike shorts, all the time since I bought a trainer. I would like to be in sexy UH shorts but those haven't come in yet.
