This will be the only full road race weekend of the semester, tear.  Who will be there to race, watch, or both.  We have some alumnus that will be out there racing in their own catagory in the Sunday race.  This has always been a fun race to go to, and being the only one this semester, try not to miss it.  The date is 10/15 and 10/16.  I will definitely be there.

This race had been on my training program since August, which means I'm going.

I'll be there, and I'll encourage everyone else to, also.  This race is usually well done and well attended.  Plus it's loads of fun.  I've been there (either racing or officiating) the past couple years, and it was great both times.

One last time? When was the first time? Wink

Seriously, though. If you stack the Cs race with experienced riders like Blake, Jason, etc., so our team can win, we're not going to impress anyone, and our medals won't be worth anything. All it will say is we're greedy and we didn't have the balls to challenge ourselves by facing a tougher field.

I hope you don't think our team is going to look good, if we steal the novice race. Some of you don't belong there, and you're going to deny the riders who do belong there, including some of your teammates, the opportunity they deserve to win. It's not fair, and I'm not going to play a part in it.

I believe I am strong enough to be competive in Bs, and I have worked extremely hard to get to this point. I have given it my all while training, so if I don't give it my all while racing, I will be letting myself down and letting you down. I refuse to do that.

have fun. thats all it should be based on.

I think you might be underestimating the top c riders though.  They can push hard if they wanted.  That's why these 2 clowns (jason/blake) are still in C's.  Because they haven't yet proven themselves in the catergory.  Even though there are a lot of beginners there, good riders continue to stick around.  That's because the jump to B's is pretty big (from what I've seen and what Ernesto has been telling me).  So do whatever, of course the team will support you.  I just want you to know that Blakes not trying to sandbag or anything, theyre just unsure of what their level is, especially since this is the first race of the season.  If you have a good gauge on how you feel, give em hell in b's.

One last thing, Blake says "own the races" as if that's actually gonna happen.  It aint that easy.  hahaha

Yeah Blake, quit denying me my glory! I know it just payback for me denying you in bed, but come on, get over it. Kiss

haha, lol, but aside from all that, the reason that there are still some good guys in C's is because they belong is B's as well. But either way, everyone should race where they feel comfortable (for some of us thats physically, for others its mentally). But yeah, it all about fun when it comes to racing, the hard part needs to be done during training.
