It looks like school will not start until at least Thursday. If you live on campus, you will not be able to return untul Wednesday at 5:00 pm. Just throwing this out there in case you have not heard yet. So get some riding in while we have a break. Looks like the mtb race up by Dallas might be cancelled if this storm sits over it like it is predicted.

I know, I got to ride Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and today. I haven't rode 4 times in the past 3 weeks (before wed) combined. And looks like i'll be able to get another 4 or 5 rides in by thursday. yay!
PS: I know no major damage happened, so I hope everybody is doing fine. Stay safe.

The only damage I got were some saddles sores, but not from the bike, from the car seat. 10 hours of traffic is not easy, but at least that was all I had.

There was a nice headwind when I was riding today. Almost like climbing a hill.
Did anyone see the guy on the news riding his bycycle in Galveston during the Hurricane? It was hillarious. He started rolling backwards and almost ate it trying to cross the street.

lol, when I started biking I was in a tailwind, and I was flying at 26 on a flat, and I was thinking to myself "Holy crap, all the weight lifting has really paid off, I feel so much stronger", then I turned at the light and I dropped down to 13, so I was like ok, this is more like it. Yeah, some really nice head wind, made the training 10 times more fun.
