So, there was a Priest, a Rabbi, and a Sheik that walked into a bar.....

Ok, no really, this isn't a joke.  I have been running lately and I am looking to do at least monday and Friday evenings at memorial park.  I think Morgan and I are meeting there around 7:45 tonight to do one loop around at probably a 8:30-9 minute/mile pace.  Let us know if you want in.  You don't even have to run with us if the pace is too slow or fast, but I know at least having some else there gives that extra push of motivation to make you get your butt out there and do it.

All right, I gotta axe a question, the one with knee problems wants to run but wont ride?

I don't claim to be the smartest guy around, but this makes no sense to my tiny pea brain.

I rode to campus a few times over the break.  I'm considering commuting to school, but duno if I can do the early morning thing... but yeh, it's a variety of reasons that I don't bike much anymore; not so much about the knees.

Evening run tonight anyone?  Either at Memorial Park, down Heights Blvd or along Buffalo Bayou trail to downtown, or all of them.

I can be there at 8.  I usually start at the tennis courts and go counterclockwise for 2 or 3 laps.

Yes, it was a fun stop-n-go.

I got back from running 6 miles with Morg and Joe and I have to say that running is amazing. Grin (runner's high? I don't know) I've fallen in love with running again.
Seriously, it felt awesome. We weren't going too slow/fast, just the right speed.

If anyone wants change the routine and would like to join us, welcomed.

who wants to run today? i'm tapering for the marathon, so i won't be going fast or long (4 - 6 miles at 8 - 9 minute miles)

tomorrow is the Brian O'niells 5k run with complimentary buffet afterwards...
