1- Yup, TriV is where alex and I work.
2- Velodrome is a circuit course on a bank. Meaning it's an an angle, and if you stop moving you'll fall off of it. They use fixed gear bikes, meaning if you're moving you gotta keep pedaling, you cant hold the pedals still and coast. Oh yeah, and the bikes dont have breaks, in order to stop you have to start pedaling slower until you come to stop. There is one Velodrome in houston and they have open nights where you can go and rent one of their bikes and ride. Look it up on google.
