Hey Guys,

So I will be starting medical school in August and so my life will be over for the next five years... I'm wanting to do somthing crazy, so I thought about pulling a Forest Gump cycling version and getting on a bike and just pedaling.  I'm thinking about going across the country, it doesn't matter where, Maybe to the east coast (New York) or somthing, and we'll rent a car from there and drive back to Houston.

We would plan it out to where we sleep at rest stops, or with friends and sponsors along the way to take care of the housing part.  Food would be whatever is available along the way.  I was thinking 60 to 100 miles a day, with break days if we get to a place that we like.

Obviously this would be more fun if I wasn't doing it by myself but if it comes down to it, I AM DOING THIS for sure! The earliest I could leave would be June 8th

Let me know if you're down!

ahhh....!

Crazzzzyyyy...I would love to do this;however, I don't think I'd want to sit another 100 miles after the first day.

hmm...I'm going to think about this...it is VERY tempting.

...will let it marinate.

oh..and I've summer school and work, too...but this sounds like a month off work and a bigger load for next summer sem.

yeah he is already in WY, but you could ride up there. He may be able to offer you a ride back to Houston though.
